When looking for a Real Estate Agent or a Realtor, it can be overwhelming. You need to be able to trust that he or she has your best interests at heart when it comes to buying/selling/managing what could possibly be your largest asset! An expert in property management and real estate, I have been helping the great people of Hampton Roads buy, sell, and property manage their homes since 2003.
Many realtors neglect their clients once the “deal” is done. I am here to help my clients feel comfortable and successful with every transaction. I am always available for my clients. No question or concern is unimportant.
What can having a real estate agent do for you? Having an experienced Realtor can help lessen the stress and provide ease of mind knowing the transaction will go as smoothly as possible. A good Realtor is there to serve his or her client and their best interests, not the other way around.
Buying and selling homes is just the tip of the iceberg in today’s real estate market. What happens when you buy a home and you are transferred (or move) out of the area? Sometimes selling doesn’t make the best financial sense and it can be difficult to manage your property when you are out of the area. When can you evict a tenant for non-payment? What can you do if a tenant breaks certain parts of the lease? Who is going to regularly check on the property? Can your tenant sue you for not following the proper procedures even if they are late on their payments? I am well-versed in tenancy laws and can market your property effectively. Don’t leave one of your greatest assets to chance!
I have lived in the Hampton Roads area my entire life. My grandfather (Henry Herrick) was a prominent real estate agent in the Norfolk area for much of his life. Wanting to continue his legacy, I decided to become an agent myself. I have been very successful during my career, winning multiple awards, but it is helping clients get the best deal possible that is my biggest reward. Many agents didn’t make it through the housing crisis in 2008-2009, but I truly believe it was the service I provided to my clients that made me successful during that time.
